MEET CEMPURO

We Recycle Backwash Water

Every year, millions of liters of water extracted from underground are turned into backwash water with high iron, manganese, and suspended solids content. Traditionally, it's treated as waste and directed into ditches and rivers. We want to change this. 99% of backwash water can be converted into drinking water—one of the most valuable resources. At Cempuro, we know how to do this for the benefit of users and the environment. We use vacuum ceramic ultrafiltration.

We apply the latest advances in materials and process engineering.

We have selected the best materials and equipment and combined them with proprietary automation. As a result, we offer the best equipment on the market with unparalleled characteristics.

We deliver plug and play equipment for immediate use.

Our offer is aimed at end users and designers. We have focused on making Cempuro easy to implement in both existing and newly designed facilities.

Recovered
water

Every day, hundreds of water treatmant plants (WTPs) waste the water contained in the rinse water. At Cempuro, we know how to recover it.

Resource
saving

Cempuro allows you to conserve natural resources, avoid fines for exceeding consumption limits and at the same time ensure the availability of drinking water.

Additional income

Cempuro removes restrictions on water supply, improving the economic situation of its producers.

Limited
waste

Thanks to Cempuro, the amount of waste from filter rinsing is reduced several dozen times!

Ceramics

Membranes are created similarly to other ceramic products. Crushed mineral is plasticized and molded into the desired shape. The formed sheets are fired at temperatures >2000°C to bond the silicon carbide (SiC) grains.

Perfect filtration

The key to excellent filtration is creating a plate body with a coarse grain size and a thin, fine-grained filter layer. The body provides the rigidity and strength of the plate with internal channels. A bonded filter layer made of the same material ensures the separation of contaminants as small as 0.1 μm.

The use of vacuum

The gentle vacuum force avoids the adverse effects of pressure filtration. Contaminants themselves become an additional filter for clean water.
Materials

NSF certificate

The membranes used in our potable water recovery systems are NSF certified for contact with drinking water intended for human consumption.

Longest service life

The hard and resistant mineral, the long and perfectly controlled firing process and the meticulous quality control translate into the possibility of using it in an unchanged form for several or even several dozen years.
Plug & Play

Device type series

Cempuro offers ready-made units with capacities ranging from 1 to 10 m³/h, requiring only three hydraulic connections and a power supply.

Incomparable permeability

SiC plate membranes have the highest water permeability in the world. In other words, pure water penetrates no other membrane with equal ease.

Stain-resistant

The material is resistant to chemical reactions and not susceptible to the development of biological contamination, meaning that cleaning is quick, repeatable and effective.

One step instead of many

Cempuro allows for the use of ultrafiltration as a first step, eliminating pre- and intermediate stages, significantly simplifying the entire system. At the same time, ultrafiltration at a level of 0.1 µm allows for the removal of contaminants many times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. All suspended solids and over 99% of bacteria, including E. coli, are eliminated.

How does it work

Purchase & Financing

Installment purchase

For users who want to immediately utilize the full power of Cempuro without incurring the full investment cost, we offer an installment plan. The device is delivered immediately after ordering, and the payment is spread over a set number of monthly payments. In many cases, it is possible to finance the purchase with the ongoing benefits of additional water production.

  • Immediate benefits
  • Predictable investment costs
  • Costs spread over time
  • Reliable financing partner
1

Cash purchase

A traditional solution where the device is purchased directly from the manufacturer by the user or general contractor of a larger investment.

  • Lowest total investment cost
  • Resale option
  • Secure ownership
  • No price fluctuations over time
2

Water as a service

Cempuro also offers a very flexible purchasing option, where the device remains the manufacturer's property and the user only pays fees related to the amount of recycled water. Detailed terms of this service agreement are negotiated individually.

  • Lowest initial outlay
  • No capital expenditure Immediate benefits
  • All fees are tax-deductible
  • Ownership risks are borne by Cempuro
